During the summer months there was an increase in opportunist thefts form garages and houses in new developments around Livingston, Broxburn and Linlithgow areas. Its your day off and you decide to open the garage to clean the car and have a general clean out. This is where the opportunist will take advantage while you are in your home taking a break, thieves will take whatever items are sellable from your garage. If your cleaning your car and you leave the keys in the ignition for a few moments while you go inside, then the opportunist thief will be off with your pride and joy. So remain vigilant about who’s around your estate and don’t spoil a nice day by making it easy for the thieves to steal your belongings.
